The METZ CONNECT 1309410003-E is a grey RJ45 termination unit in a flange housing designed to ISO/IEC 24702 and IEC 61076-3-106 variant 6. It is component-tested for Category 6A to multiple standards and certified to GHMT, providing class EA performance suitable for 10 GBit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3an), Remote Powering (PoE, PoE+ and UPoE) and HDBaseT. The compact unit accepts common RJ45 plugs on the market and is built with a durable combination of nickel, polyamide, rubber and zinc.

Advantages

The socket offers IP67 ingress protection when plugged in and a large 360° shield contact for reliable shielding. It allows easy and time-saving connection of 2- to 4-pair solid or stranded data cables (AWG 26/1–22/1 and AWG 26/7–22/7) via 8-position BTR insulation displacement connectors (IDC). Conductor assignment is marked for T568A and T568B. The design supports surface mounting in series (AP) and maintains standard plug-face geometry to IEC 61076-3-106 (variant 6).
