The METZ CONNECT 1309510003-E is a grey RJ45 flange-mounted termination unit for Category 6A networks. Designed to ISO/IEC 24702 and IEC 61076-3-106 (variant 6), this socket-outlet is certified to GHMT Cat.6A re-embedded PVP and tested as a component up to 600 MHz (link up to 800 MHz). It supports 10 GBit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3an), Remote Powering (PoE, PoE+ and UPoE) and HDBaseT, and achieves IP67 ingress protection when plugged in.

Advantages

The unit offers component certification for Cat.6A according to ISO/IEC and TIA/EIA standards and provides a large 360° shield contact for improved EMC performance. Installation is tool-free: termination uses insulation displacement connectors (IDC) compatible with solid AWG 24/1 to 22/1 and stranded AWG 26/7 to 22/7 conductors, with an intelligent stuffer cap that manages even heavily twisted cables. Conductor assignment for T568A and T568B is printed on the stuffer cap, and strain relief snaps directly onto the cap.

Select the conductor assignment (T568A or T568B) indicated on the stuffer cap and place conductors into the IDC positions. Close the stuffer cap to terminate the wires and snap the strain relief onto the cap. Plug an RJ45 plug to achieve IP67 protection; the large 360° shield contact ensures proper shielding connection.
