Networking cable C2G Wantec 7409 Cat6a, 8 m, white
The C2G Wantec 7409 Cat6a networking cable is an 8 m white patch lead engineered for high-speed Ethernet connections. Designed to meet Cat6a performance, this cable supports 10 Gigabit networks and is suitable for short links between switches, patch panels and end devices. The cable features standard RJ45 straight male terminations on both ends and a flexible jacket that eases routing in office, data center and residential environments.
This Cat6a cable provides reliable transmission performance up to 10 Gbps over short to medium distances and reduces alien crosstalk compared with lower-category cables. The white jacket offers a discreet appearance for visible cabling runs, while the 8 m length covers common desktop-to-switch and rack-to-patch-panel distances without excess slack. Durable connectors and consistent impedance ensure stable connectivity for data, VoIP and multimedia applications.
Connect one RJ45 straight male end to the network switch, patch panel or router and the other end to the target device such as a PC, VoIP phone or IP camera. Ensure both connected ports are rated for the intended network speed and that cable runs avoid excessive bending or tight loops. For installations requiring cable management, secure the cable along racks or trunking using appropriate clips or Velcro straps to prevent strain on the connectors.
For optimal 10 Gbps performance, keep the cable run within the recommended distance for Cat6a and avoid bundling large numbers of cables together without appropriate shielding or separation. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and route the cable away from high-interference sources such as large electrical motors or fluorescent fixtures.
