The C2G 3M LC/LC OM4 LSZH fibre patch cable is a 3-metre duplex multimode cable with LC connectors at both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission in datacentre and wiring-closet environments. Its OM4 multimode grade (50/125 µm core/cladding) supports 40GBase-SR4 and 100GBase-SR10 links and is compatible with SFP+/QSFP+ transceivers. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and halogen emissions for safer use in enclosed spaces.
This OM4 LC/LC cable provides backward compatibility with existing 50/125 multimode equipment while offering the performance headroom required for LED and VCSEL light sources. The duplex design supports high-bandwidth InfiniBand and Ethernet applications up to 40 and 100 gigabit, and the LSZH outer jacket minimizes hazardous emissions in case of fire.
Route the duplex LC/LC cable between compatible transceivers or patch panels, ensuring correct polarity for transmit and receive pairs. Insert LC connectors into the SFP+, QSFP+ modules or LC ports until they click. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable to prevent strain on the connectors.
