C2G Cat6 550MHz Snagless Patch Cable Grey 7m U/UTP
C2G Cat6 550MHz Snagless Patch Cable Grey 7m U/UTP
The C2G Cat6 550MHz Snagless Patch Cable (7 m, grey) is a U/UTP network cable designed for higher-bandwidth data transmission, suitable for connecting computers, switches and other Ethernet devices in home or office networks. It supports Cat6 performance up to 550 MHz and uses RJ-45 connectors with gold plating. The moulded snagless boot reduces the risk of connector damage and provides strain relief during installation. This cable is a direct upgrade from Cat5e when additional bandwidth and improved signal integrity are required.
This Cat6 patch cable delivers higher bandwidth (up to 550 MHz) compared to Cat5e, supporting faster and more reliable transfer of video, audio and data. The U/UTP construction provides standard unshielded performance for typical network environments while RJ-45 connectors with gold plating ensure consistent contact quality. The moulded snagless boot prevents the clip from catching during routing and offers strain relief to prolong connector life. Available in grey for straightforward colour-coding of connections.
Route the cable between network devices and insert the RJ-45 connectors into the appropriate ports until the clip clicks. Use the moulded snagless boot to guide the cable through tight spaces and to protect the connector clip during installation. For best results, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling; maintain recommended bend radius for Ethernet cables to preserve signal quality.
Use this Cat6 patch cable for in-building horizontal runs and patching in racks or wall outlets. For environments with high electromagnetic interference or where additional protection is needed, consider a shielded cable variant. Label or colour-code connections when deploying multiple cables to simplify maintenance.
