C2G 5m Cat6 Patch Cable networking cable Red U/UTP RJ-45 Gold
The C2G 5m Cat6 Patch Cable is a high-performance networking solution engineered to support the demanding bandwidth requirements of modern data, video, and audio transmissions. As a successor to Cat5E technology, this cable provides the necessary speed and reliability for high-speed network environments. It features a snagless, moulded boot design that protects the connector during installation while providing essential strain relief to ensure long-term durability.
This Cat6 cable offers superior signal integrity compared to older standards, making it an ideal choice for upgrading existing network infrastructures. The inclusion of gold-plated contacts ensures optimal conductivity and resistance to corrosion, which helps maintain stable data transfer rates. The snagless boot design simplifies the installation process by preventing the connector tab from catching on other cables or equipment, while the flexible PVC jacket allows for easy routing in tight spaces.
This cable is designed for standard indoor networking environments and is not intended for outdoor use or direct burial, as the jacket is not rated for exposure to harsh weather conditions or UV radiation. Additionally, it is not suitable for applications requiring shielded (S/FTP or F/UTP) cabling to prevent electromagnetic interference in industrial settings.
To use the cable, simply insert the RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your networking device, such as a router, switch, or computer. Ensure that the connector is fully seated until you hear a click, which indicates that the locking tab is secure. When disconnecting, gently press down on the snagless boot tab to release the lock before pulling the cable out of the port.
For optimal network performance, avoid bending the cable at sharp angles or tightly coiling it, as this can damage the internal twisted pairs and degrade signal quality.
