Fibre patch cable C2G LC to SC duplex 2 m LSZH 62.5/125 OM1 Orange
Fibre patch cable C2G LC to SC duplex 2 m LSZH 62.5/125 OM1 Orange
Fibre patch cable C2G LC to SC duplex 2 m LSZH 62.5/125 OM1 Orange is a multimode fibre patch jumper with LC to SC duplex connectors, 2 m length and 62.5/125 µm core/cladding (OM1). The LSZH (Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen) jacket reduces smoke and halogen emissions in high-temperature conditions, making the cable suitable for indoor installations where reduced toxic and corrosive gas release is required. This cable is intended for multimode network links such as Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel and ATM, and provides a simple connection between LC and SC ports for fibre optic equipment and cross-connects.
The C2G OM1 duplex patch cable combines LC and SC terminations for easy interconnection between different fibre ports and devices. Its 2 m length covers short links in racks and cabinets while the 62.5/125 µm multimode core supports common legacy multimode applications. The LSZH jacket lowers smoke and halogen output in case of fire, helping to meet safety requirements for enclosed spaces. Each cable is optically inspected and tested for insertion loss and quality to ensure consistent performance.
Route the 2 m LC–SC duplex patch cable between the device and the patch panel or cross-connect. Align and insert the LC connector into the LC port and the SC connector into the SC port until they click into place. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before mating to minimise insertion loss. Avoid tight bends and mechanical stress on the fibre; maintain the cable bend radius recommended for multimode fibre.
Use in indoor environments where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are preferred. For optimal optical performance, clean connector endfaces before each connection and keep runs short and protected within racks or conduit.
