This OM3 duplex multimode fibre optic cable by C2G (MPN 85554) is a 10 m LC-terminated link with a 50 µm core designed for full-duplex high-speed connections. It is suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet using compatible transceivers such as 10GBase-SR, 10GBase-LRM, SFP+ and QSFP+, and is backward compatible with existing 50/125 equipment.
The cable features an OM3 multimode construction that provides the performance margin required for LED and VCSEL laser sources and 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. Its LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket reduces toxic and corrosive gas emission in poorly ventilated areas, improving safety in data centres and enclosed spaces. The LC connectors and full duplex design enable reliable, bidirectional data transfers over a 10 m length.
Inspect both LC connectors and device ports for dust or damage before installation. Align the LC connectors with the corresponding LC ports on the transceivers or network equipment and insert until secure.
