Networking Cable C2G Cat6a SSTP RJ-45 S/FTP 15m Grey
This Booted Shielded Cat6a patch cable (C2G Cat6a SSTP RJ-45 S/FTP 15m Grey, MPN 89923) is a 15 m S/FTP RJ-45 cable designed for 10GBase-T ports and equipment. It protects high-speed 10 Gigabit connections from noise and electromagnetic interference, supports voice, data and video distribution, and is tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 Cat6a component requirements. The grey cable uses shielded RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts for reliable connectivity and is individually labelled with length for easy identification.
The S/FTP shielding and bonded pairs reduce impedance, structural return loss (SRL) and Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT), improving signal integrity for bandwidth-intensive applications. The moulded snagless boot provides strain relief and protects the connector clip during installation and handling. Available in multiple colours for colour-coded installations and offered in lengths up to 30 m to fit different cabling needs.
Route the patch cable between network equipment such as switches, routers, adapters or patch panels. Ensure shielding continuity by connecting to shielded ports or grounded panels where available. Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force; use the moulded boot to guide the cable through panels and trunking while protecting the clip. Verify link speed and connectivity after installation.
Use shielded terminations and grounded patch panels in high-noise environments to benefit fully from the S/FTP shielding. For best performance, maintain proper cable bend radius and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines.
