Antenna Cambium Networks 60GHz cnWave V1000
The Cambium Networks 60GHz cnWave V1000 antenna delivers multi-gigabit fixed wireless performance in a compact, weather-resistant form factor. Operating across the 57–66 GHz millimeter-wave band with a peak gain of 22.5 dBi, the V1000 is designed for fast deployment in residential and small business environments. It supports point-to-point (PTP) and point-to-multipoint (PTMP) topologies, provides up to 2 Gbps aggregate throughput (1 Gbps uplink and 1 Gbps downlink), and integrates with Cambium's cnMaestro network management platform for cloud or on-premise control.
The V1000 combines high-frequency 60 GHz operation with a compact, lightweight design for easy installation. With an IP66/IP67 environmental rating and survival wind speed up to 200 km/h, it withstands harsh outdoor conditions. Wide-range 80° beamforming simplifies alignment and mounting, while PoE support (802.3af) and low power consumption (maximum 10 W) reduce cabling complexity and operational overhead. Compatibility with cnMaestro enables centralized monitoring, zero-touch provisioning and scalable network management.
Mount the V1000 on an appropriate outdoor mast or bracket using standard mounting hardware, ensuring clear line-of-sight to the remote node(s). Connect the device to a Power over Ethernet (802.3af) injector or switch and to your network via the Ethernet interface. Use cnMaestro cloud or on-premises management to provision the device, perform alignment using the beamforming indicators, and apply radio and network configurations. Verify link performance and adjust antenna orientation for optimal throughput.
For reliable multi-gigabit performance, ensure unobstructed line-of-sight and minimal reflective surfaces within the Fresnel zone. In dense urban deployments, plan placements to leverage Terragraph mesh capabilities and use cnMaestro for centralized monitoring and firmware management. Regularly inspect mounting hardware and seals to maintain IP66/IP67 integrity in harsh climates.
