Caran d`Arche 1284.718 is a set of 18 coloured pencils made in Switzerland, supplied in a metal box and designed for drawing, sketching and colouring. The pencils are crafted from premium FSC™ certified cedar wood and varnished in the same colour as the lead for quick identification. Each pencil contains a soft, water-resistant core with a 2.8 mm diameter that delivers smooth colour laydown, good lightfastness and high pigment concentration for economical use.

How to use

Select pencils by colour-coded barrels and sharpen with a sharpener suitable for thicker cores to preserve the 2.8 mm lead. Apply light to medium pressure for layering and blending; increase pressure for more saturated colour.
