Hold the binoculars steady at eye level and use the center focus knob to bring the subject into focus. Adjust the right-eye diopter ring to compensate for differences in vision between your eyes: cover the right objective, focus with the center knob using the left eye, then uncover the right objective and rotate the diopter until the image is sharp. Recheck final focus with both eyes open and readjust as needed.
