How to use

Position the HookUpz 2.0 over the eyepiece of your optic and tighten the optic cam lock to secure the mount to the eyepiece. Place your smartphone in the phone clamp and adjust until the phone camera is aligned with the eyepiece. Tighten the phone clamp to hold the device firmly. Open your phone camera or recording app and fine-tune alignment by adjusting the mount and the phone until the image is clear. Record photos or video as needed and transfer or share files from your smartphone.

Usage recommendations

For best results, start with the lowest magnification or a wider field optic to align the camera, then increase magnification as needed. Ensure the phone is firmly clamped and check alignment after changing eyepieces. Store the mount in the included foam case to protect it when not in use.
