Sliding shelf CAYMON SS160/B — steel housing, black, 3.5 kg, 1 pc
CAYMON SS160/B sliding shelf is a 19" rack accessory with a 1.2 mm steel construction and a black structural powder coating. Designed to provide a retractable platform inside server, network or AV cabinets, this sliding shelf supports devices that lack standard 19" mounting brackets or require frequent access. The SS160/B is supplied as a single unit with reinforced sliding rails that allow an extended, smooth pull-out for installation and maintenance tasks.
The steel housing and powder coating ensure durable protection against wear and provide a stable support surface for non-rackmount equipment. Improved rails deliver reliable and smooth extension, allowing safe access to installed devices without removing them from the cabinet. Compact 19" form factor and universal mounting positions make the shelf compatible with most standard equipment racks.
Install the sliding shelf into the desired position within a compatible 19" rack or cabinet using appropriate mounting hardware aligned with rack uprights. Slide the shelf fully in and out to verify smooth rail operation before placing equipment on the surface. Place non-rackmount devices centrally on the shelf and secure them if necessary to prevent movement during extended use or transport of the rack.
For safe operation, verify rack weight capacity and distribute load evenly across the shelf surface; do not exceed the shelf's intended load for prolonged periods. Periodically inspect the sliding rails and mounting points for wear and tighten fasteners if needed. Use the shelf for devices and tools that benefit from pull-out access rather than as a primary structural support for heavy equipment.
