Open 19" rack frame CAYMON TPR306A/B — open network equipment rack, 19-inch mounting

Open 19" rack frame CAYMON TPR306A/B is a freestanding open network equipment frame designed for mounting 19-inch devices and patch panels. As an open rack it provides unobstructed access to mounted equipment, simplifying installation, cabling and airflow. The frame is suitable for server rooms, data centres and telecom closets where accessible mounting, easy cable routing and efficient cooling are required.

Advantages

The open frame design offers unrestricted front and rear access to equipment, which reduces installation time and facilitates frequent changes to cabling and device layout. Its 19-inch mounting rails support standard rack-mount devices and patch panels, while the freestanding construction provides stability without enclosing cabinets that impede airflow. The exposed structure improves passive cooling and makes it easier to inspect and maintain network components.

Suitable for

• Mounting 19-inch switches, patch panels and rack servers in network racks
• Telecom and wiring closets requiring frequent access and cable management
• Data centre and server room installations where natural airflow is important
• Laboratory or test environments with temporary or changing equipment setups

Key specifications

• 19-inch standard mounting rails compatible with rack-mount equipment
• Freestanding, open-frame construction for front and rear access
• Metal frame designed for stable support of network devices
• Allows unrestricted airflow around installed equipment for passive cooling
• Suitable for patch panels, switches, routers and rack-mount servers

How to use

Position the freestanding rack frame on a level, stable floor surface and secure it if required by local safety practices. Install 19-inch mounting rails or use the integrated rails to attach equipment, aligning rack ears and securing with appropriate rack screws and cage nuts. Route power and network cabling keeping power and data cables separated where possible, and use cable management accessories to maintain order and access. Regularly inspect fastenings and cable routing to ensure equipment remains stable and accessible.

Usage recommendations

Use the open frame in well-ventilated rooms and allow clear space around the rack for optimal passive cooling. Choose appropriate mounting hardware for the weight and size of installed devices and follow workplace safety guidelines when arranging heavy equipment or when anchoring the frame.
