Garden hose quick connector Cellfast 51-130H through connector 1/2"–5/8"
Cellfast quick hose connector model 51-130H is a straight through connector designed to join garden hoses with internal diameters from 1/2" to 5/8". The connector allows fast, tool-free assembly of two hose segments or hose-to-fitting connections, creating a sealed link for irrigation, garden watering and outdoor cleaning tasks. It is compatible with standard garden hose ends and matching quick-connect accessories.
The through connector offers a simple and durable connection method that reduces water leaks at hose joins and speeds up setup and breakdown of irrigation lines. Its design enables push-fit assembly without tools, and it maintains a compact straight profile that minimises flow restriction. Constructed for outdoor use, the connector withstands normal garden handling and repeated connections.
Ensure hose ends are cut square and free of debris. Push each hose onto the corresponding end of the connector until it seats firmly and the sealing element engages. Check the joint for secure fit by pulling gently on the hose. After connecting, open water supply slowly and inspect for leaks; if necessary close water, reseat hoses and retighten by hand. Disconnect by depressing the release mechanism (if present) or by pulling the hose off according to the accessory design.
Use with hoses that match the specified inner diameter range and avoid excessive bending or kinking at the connector. Protect the connector from prolonged exposure to strong sunlight when not in use and drain water from the system before winter to prevent damage from freezing. Replace worn sealing elements if leaks develop.
