Garden irrigation through coupler Cellfast 3/4" straight connector 51-635
Cellfast 3/4" straight connector 51-635 is a through quick connector for garden irrigation systems designed to join two sections of 3/4" hose or tubing in a straight line. The connector provides a push-fit connection that maintains internal flow without redirecting water, enabling a continuous run in drip lines, soaker hoses or conventional watering hoses. It is suitable for assembling, repairing or extending irrigation circuits on lawns, flower beds and vegetable patches where a reliable straight joint is required.
The straight connector offers a simple, tool-free push-fit installation that reduces assembly time and minimizes the risk of leakage when used with compatible 3/4" hoses or tubes. Its through design preserves flow rate and pressure along the line, avoiding the turbulence and pressure loss that can occur with angled fittings. The connector is compact and lightweight, allowing unobtrusive placement in garden beds and easy storage when not in use.
Ensure the hose ends are cut square and clean. Push each 3/4" hose or tube onto the connector until it seats firmly; a tactile stop indicates proper insertion. Confirm both ends are secure, then pressurize the system slowly and check for leaks at the joint. If leakage appears, depressurize, remove the hose, trim the end and reinsert. Installation does not require additional clamps when used with compatible hoses, though clamps may be added for older or worn tubing to improve sealing.
Use the connector within the intended pressure range of your irrigation system and with hoses or tubing that match the 3/4" nominal diameter. Store the connector out of direct sunlight when not in use to reduce material ageing. Inspect connections periodically for wear and replace the fitting if cracking or persistent leakage occurs.
