CERESIT CE 40 Aquastatic elastic waterproof grout in Natura shade is a ready-to-mix jointing compound supplied in a 2 kg pack for finishing tiled surfaces. Formulated to combine elasticity with water resistance, this grout is intended for narrow to medium tile joints and is suitable for indoor and outdoor areas exposed to moisture. The Natura colour provides a neutral, natural-looking finish that complements ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles while helping to maintain joint integrity under slight substrate movements.
The grout offers elasticity that reduces the risk of cracking when tiles or substrates experience minor movement. Its waterproof performance improves durability and hygiene in wet zones by limiting water penetration through joints. The product is delivered in a pre-measured 2 kg package for easier handling and consistent mixing, and the Natura shade provides a versatile, unobtrusive appearance for many tile schemes.
This grout is intended for narrow to medium width joints and is not formulated for very wide gaps that require mortar or special joint fillers. It is not a substitute for full waterproofing membranes or structural sealants in areas with significant movement or where a certified membrane system is required. For heavy chemical exposure or industrial floors, consider products specified for those conditions.
Mix the powder with clean water according to the manufacturer’s recommended ratio until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved. Apply the grout with a rubber float, pressing it firmly into joints and removing excess material across the tile surface. After initial setting, clean tiles with a damp sponge and allow final hardening according to ambient temperature and humidity. Follow any additional curing or protection times advised for wet area use before exposing the surface to water.
Use clean tools and water for mixing and cleaning. Work in manageable sections to prevent the grout from setting on tile surfaces. Observe recommended curing times before exposing joints to water, and avoid applying on frozen substrates or at very low temperatures.
