Tile Grout CERESIT CE 40 Aquastatic waterproof flexible grout, dark brown, 2 kg
CERESIT CE 40 Aquastatic waterproof flexible grout in dark brown is a ready-mix jointing compound supplied in a 2 kg package for filling and sealing joints between ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles. Formulated to provide elasticity and water resistance, this grout is intended for use in interior and exterior wet environments where movement and moisture exposure are expected, including bathrooms, kitchens, balconies and other wet areas. The dark brown colour blends with darker tile shades and helps reduce visible staining in high-traffic zones.
The grout combines waterproof performance with flexibility to reduce the risk of cracking and water ingress along tile joints. Its ready-to-use consistency and packaging size are suitable for small to medium repair or installation jobs. The dark brown tone provides a discreet finish with lower visible dirt accumulation compared with lighter grouts, and the formulation is compatible with ceramic, porcelain and many types of natural stone tiles.
This product is not intended for use where joints require structural bonding or where extremely high mechanical loads are present; it is a joint-filling and sealing material rather than an adhesive. It may not be compatible with some sensitive natural stones or polished surfaces without prior testing; always check colour and adhesion on a small inconspicuous area before full application.
Ensure tile surfaces and joints are clean, dry and free from dust, adhesive residues or contaminants. Mix or prepare the product as instructed on the packaging if a final adjustment is required, then apply the grout into joints using a suitable rubber float or grout finishing tool, pressing material fully into the gap. Remove excess grout from tile faces with a damp sponge and allow initial set. After curing, clean the surface and carry out a final wipe to achieve the required finish. Follow manufacturer curing times before exposing joints to water.
Store the grout in a dry place at moderate temperatures. Apply at temperatures recommended by the manufacturer and allow full curing before exposure to moisture. Test on a small area if using on sensitive stone or unusual tile finishes.
