Tile Grout CERESIT CE 40 Aquastatic Natura – flexible, waterproof grout, 5 kg
CERESIT CE 40 Aquastatic Natura is a flexible, waterproof grout supplied in a 5 kg package, formulated for filling and protecting joints between ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles. The product creates an elastic, water-repellent joint layer that helps maintain tile installations in wet environments by reducing water penetration and accommodating minor substrate movement.
The grout combines flexibility and water resistance to protect joints against cracking and moisture ingress. Its composition is designed to adhere well to common tile materials while remaining elastic to absorb small movements. The 5 kg packaging is suitable for moderate repair or renovation jobs and offers a consistent texture for uniform application and finishing.
This grout is intended for tile joints and is not a substitute for structural waterproofing systems or liquid-applied membranes. It may not be suitable for extremely wide joints beyond the product's recommended joint width or for substrates with heavy ongoing movement where specialized expansion joints are required. For continuous immersion situations or areas with aggressive chemical exposure, consult technical guidelines to confirm suitability.
Prepare the substrate and ensure tile adhesive has fully cured before grouting. Mix the grout powder with water following the manufacturer’s recommended water-to-powder ratio until a homogeneous, lump-free consistency is achieved. Apply the grout using a rubber float, pressing the material firmly into the joints and removing excess grout from the tile surface. After initial set, clean remaining haze with a damp sponge and allow the grout to cure undisturbed for the time indicated in the product instructions. Protect finished joints from water and heavy loading until fully cured.
Use the grout in well-ventilated conditions and follow the manufacturer’s mixing and curing guidelines. For wet-room installations, allow full curing before exposing joints to continuous water contact. When working with natural stone, test a small area first to ensure color compatibility and consider applying an appropriate sealer if recommended.
