Bradas TYRP90 plant tie/wire
Bradas TYRP90 plant tie/wire is a support structure designed to stabilize and train climbing or tall-growing plants. This 90 cm tall plant support has four concentric rings of gradually decreasing diameter and a sturdy frame made from steel wire with a PVC coating. The construction allows plants to grow through and be guided upward while the coating protects stems from direct contact with bare metal.
The solid construction provides reliable lateral and vertical support for developing stems and foliage. PVC-coated steel wire combines strength with gentle contact surfaces to reduce abrasion on plant tissue. The set of four rings with diameters arranged from largest to smallest simplifies staged training of vines, roses, tomatoes and other climbers as they grow taller. Easy mounting and a lightweight frame make positioning the support around existing plants convenient without disturbing root systems.
Place the plant support close to the stem of the plant, pushing the lower part into the soil to achieve a stable position. Guide shoots or stems through the lowest ring first and, as the plant grows, gently move or tie stems to the higher rings in sequence to maintain upright growth and prevent flopping. Use soft ties or gardening twine if additional fastening is necessary, avoiding tight knots that could constrict stems. For potted plants, ensure the support base is positioned centrally to balance the load and avoid tipping.
Regularly check ties and contact points during the growing season and loosen or adjust them to accommodate stem thickening. Clean the PVC coating if it becomes dirty and inspect for damage at the start and end of each season; replace the support if significant corrosion or deformation occurs.
