Switch Managed Cisco C9200L-48PXG-4X-E — 48x Gigabit PoE RJ-45, 4x 10G uplink, L2/L3, 392 Gbit/s, 16K MAC
The Switch Managed Cisco C9200L-48PXG-4X-E is a managed enterprise access switch offering 48 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) RJ-45 ports with full Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+), and four 10G uplink ports. Designed for L2/L3 deployments, the switch provides a 16K MAC address table and 392 Gbit/s switching capacity. It supports broad Ethernet and security standards including IEEE 802.1x, 802.1Q and 802.1p, and is intended for access-layer roles in campus and branch networks where PoE for IP phones and wireless access points and robust uplink capacity are required.
The Cisco C9200L-48PXG-4X-E combines managed Layer 2 and Layer 3 capabilities with enterprise-grade PoE, delivering centralized power to endpoints while maintaining predictable switching performance at 392 Gbit/s. Hardware and software security features protect configuration and traffic, while stacking and modular uplink options enable growth and simple integration into existing network architectures. The switch is engineered for high availability and interoperability with Cisco IOS XE, supporting automation and programmability for simplified operations.
Install the switch in a standard equipment rack and connect the switch to power and your network fabric via the 10G SFP+ uplinks. Connect access devices to the RJ-45 ports and configure PoE settings as required for attached endpoints. Use the Cisco IOS XE management interface, CLI, or supported management tools to apply VLANs, routing (L3) settings, QoS policies and security such as 802.1x authentication. For multi-switch deployments, configure stacking or stacking-like features and verify firmware and configuration consistency across the stack.
Plan PoE budgeting before deployment to ensure adequate power for connected devices; enable QoS and 802.1x where voice and wireless traffic coexist; keep IOS XE firmware updated and use Cisco management tools or APIs to automate configuration and monitoring for reliable, secure operation.
