Changeover switch CNC YCBZ-40 4P 40A — 4-pole manual transfer switch, 40 A
Changeover switch CNC YCBZ-40 4P 40A — 4-pole manual transfer switch, 40 A
CNC YCBZ-40 is a modular 4-pole manual changeover switch rated for 40 A, designed to select and mechanically transfer supply between two power sources. The switch provides three-position operation (1 - 0 - 2) with a common upper contact and a front handle for quick, visible switching. It is suitable for distribution circuits, generator transfer or selection of mains and backup sources in residential, workshop or commercial installations. The device is DIN-rail mountable and conforms to IEC 60947-3 standards.
The modular changeover switch offers reliable mechanical switching for AC 50/60 Hz circuits up to AC 400/415 V and a rated current of 40 A. It is compact (72 x 61 x 77 mm), easy to install on a 35 mm DIN rail with a fast clip, and supports cable cross-sections up to 10 mm². The switch meets IEC/EN 60947-3 and relevant EMC requirements and provides defined mechanical and electrical life cycles for predictable maintenance planning.
Install the CNC YCBZ-40 on a 35 mm DIN rail and secure it with the fast clip. Connect the incoming and outgoing conductors to the appropriate terminals, observing the 4-pole configuration and recommended cable cross-section (max. 10 mm²). Use the front handle to move the contact position to 1 (source A), 0 (off), or 2 (source B) as required. Operate the switch only under the conditions specified (AC 50/60 Hz, up to AC 415 V) and ensure the circuit is within the rated current of 40 A.
Perform installation and wiring by a qualified electrician. Before switching between power sources, verify both sources and loads are compatible and within specified voltage and frequency ranges. Regularly inspect for secure connections and signs of wear; replace the device if electrical life limits are reached or if visible damage occurs.
