Thermostatic Radiator Valve Set Comap RK859724, connection 1/2"-M22
Thermostatic Radiator Valve Set Comap RK859724, connection 1/2"-M22
Comap RK859724 thermostatic radiator valve set is designed for controlling radiator flow and regulating room temperature in hydronic heating systems. The set provides a connection interface between a 1/2" pipe and an M22 radiator inlet, enabling either manual or thermostatic control of radiator output. It is compatible with standard panel and column radiators and is intended for use where accurate balancing and simple temperature adjustment are required.
The valve set offers reliable flow control and stable temperature regulation through a compact, serviceable design. Its construction supports straightforward installation on common radiator fittings and reduces heat wastage by allowing targeted adjustment of individual radiators. Materials and dimensions are selected for compatibility with typical residential and light commercial heating circuits.
Shut off the heating circuit and drain the radiator before fitting the valve set. Fit the 1/2" side to the incoming pipework and secure the M22 connection to the radiator inlet, ensuring appropriate sealing and alignment. After installation, refill and ventilate the system, then adjust the valve to achieve the desired radiator output. If used with a thermostatic head, mount the head according to the manufacturer’s instructions and set the required room temperature.
Check compatibility of radiator threads and pipework size before purchase. Regularly inspect connections for leaks after initial operation and during seasonal start-ups. When pairing with a thermostatic head, choose a head suitable for the valve stem type and allow free air circulation around the head for accurate temperature sensing.
