Network Switch Cudy FS108D Fast Ethernet 10/100
Network Switch Cudy FS108D Fast Ethernet 10/100
The Cudy FS108D Fast Ethernet 10/100 network switch provides eight Auto MDI/MDIX RJ-45 ports for easy, plug-and-play connectivity in small wired networks. It supports auto-negotiation on each port to detect and set the optimal link speed (10/100 Mbps) and operates with a non-blocking switching architecture and IEEE 802.3x flow control for reliable data transfer and congestion handling. The switch is compact, powered by 5V DC, and designed to deliver full wire-speed forwarding for typical home and small office setups.
Plug-and-play operation requires no manual configuration; Auto MDI/MDIX removes the need for crossover cables and auto-negotiation ensures compatibility with 10/100 Mbps devices. The non-blocking switching architecture and a switching capacity of 1.6 Gbit/s allow full wire-speed forwarding and filtering of packets. Flow control for Full Duplex and backpressure for Half Duplex help reduce packet loss and network congestion.
Place the Cudy FS108D on a flat surface near your router or modem and connect the included power adapter to a 5V DC outlet. Use standard Ethernet cables to connect devices to any of the eight RJ-45 ports; Auto MDI/MDIX supports straight or crossover cables automatically. The switch will auto-negotiate link speeds and duplex settings with connected devices and require no further configuration.
For best performance, connect higher-demand devices such as NAS or desktop PCs to separate ports and avoid daisy-chaining multiple switches when possible. Ensure the switch is placed in a ventilated area and use Category 5e or better Ethernet cables to achieve stable 100 Mbps links.
