Anti-spatter spray CX80 Easy Weld for welding, 500 ml bottle
Anti-spatter spray CX80 Easy Weld for welding, 500 ml bottle
CX80 Easy Weld anti-spatter spray in a 500 ml aerosol bottle is formulated to prevent molten welding spatter from adhering to adjacent metal surfaces. Designed for use in MIG/MAG and other arc welding processes on steel, it creates a thin protective film that eases post-weld cleaning and helps maintain the appearance and function of jigs, fixtures, and workpieces. The spray is intended for workshop and fabrication environments where repeated welding operations increase the risk of spatter buildup.
The anti-spatter film reduces the need for time-consuming mechanical removal such as chipping or heavy grinding, saving labour and lowering the risk of surface damage. Applied as an aerosol, the product offers quick coverage and consistent film thickness. Its formulation is compatible with common steel welding operations and helps keep welding equipment, tools, and surrounding areas cleaner, contributing to more efficient workflow and reduced maintenance.
Shake the aerosol well before use. Hold the can at the recommended distance from the target surface (typically 20–30 cm) and apply a thin, even coat to the areas adjacent to the planned weld. Allow the film to form briefly before starting welding. Reapply as needed between welds or when the film is removed by heat or mechanical action. After welding, residual film and spatter can be removed more easily than untreated deposits, using manual or power tools as required.
Use in well-ventilated areas and follow standard welding safety procedures, including appropriate personal protective equipment. Avoid applying directly to welding seams where coating could interfere with weld penetration. Test on a small area if surface compatibility is uncertain and keep the product away from open flames or high heat sources when not in active use.
