The D-Link DAP-1325 N300 Wi‑Fi Range Extender is a compact plug-in network repeater designed to increase the coverage of an existing wireless network. It supports Wireless N technology with data rates up to 300 Mbps and remains backward compatible with older 802.11g devices. The unit includes a Fast Ethernet port for wired uplink use and fits directly into a power outlet for convenient placement.

How to use

Plug the DAP-1325 into a wall outlet between your router and the area where you need better coverage. Use the WPS button on both the extender and your router to pair them automatically, or follow the built-in setup wizard via a connected PC or the QRS Mobile app on an iOS or Android device. Optionally connect a wired device to the Fast Ethernet port to provide network access through the extender.

Usage recommendations

For best performance, place the extender at a midpoint where the signal from the main router is still stable. Avoid placing the unit near large metal objects, microwaves or cordless phone bases. Use the signal indicator LED to fine-tune placement and, when possible, use the Ethernet port for devices requiring stable throughput.
