Insert the DEM-410T into a compatible SFP+ port on your switch or network device while the device is powered according to the vendor’s installation guidelines. Connect the RJ45 connector on the module to the Cat 6a UTP cable terminated to the remote device. Ensure cable length does not exceed 30 m for the specified power-optimized performance. Configure link speed and duplex as required by the host device, and verify link status via the switch management interface.
For optimal performance, use certified Cat 6a UTP cabling and maintain link distances at or below 30 m. Verify host device compatibility with the D-Link DEM-410T SFP+ module and follow the switch vendor’s firmware and interoperability guidelines to ensure correct operation and power savings.
