Description

The D-Link DES-1210-28P is a managed Layer 2 network switch with 28 RJ-45 ports, 12.8 Gbit/s switching capacity and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support. Housed in a 19" metal rack-mount case with a fanless design, it is intended for small and medium business networks that require reliable wired connectivity, VLANs, traffic control and centralized management.

Advantages

The switch combines Web Smart management with extensive Layer 2 features, including VLANs, IGMP snooping, LACP and Spanning Tree, while providing QoS and bandwidth control for prioritized traffic. Built-in security functions such as Safeguard Engine, ACLs, 802.1X authentication, IP-MAC-Port Binding and DHCP Server Screening help protect the network from floods, unauthorised access and rogue DHCP servers. How to use
