How to use

Install the DGS-1100-08P on a desktop or mount it in a compact rack space and connect powered devices and network endpoints to the RJ-45 ports. Access the switch management via the embedded web interface or use the SmartConsole utility to discover devices on the same L2 segment without changing the PC IP address. Configure VLANs, Auto Surveillance VLAN, bandwidth control, PoE settings and IGMP Snooping as required, and use the management functions to reboot PoE devices remotely or perform firmware updates.

Usage recommendations

For surveillance and QoS-sensitive deployments, enable Auto Surveillance VLAN and reserve bandwidth using Bandwidth Control to prioritise video streams.
