The D-Link DGS-1210-20 is a managed L2 switch with 20 RJ-45 Ethernet ports, a MAC address table of 16,000 entries and a switching capacity of 40 Gbit/s. It supports IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab and 802.3x standards and is supplied in a 1U rack-mountable, black enclosure suitable for space-efficient network deployments.

Advantages

This switch provides energy-saving features including IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet, D-Link Green power-saving functions, LED and port shutoff, port standby, system hibernation, cable length and link status detection, and time-based PoE on PoE models. Security mechanisms include Access Control Lists, D-Link Safeguard Engine, port security, ARP spoofing prevention and IP–MAC–Port binding. Management is available via IPv4/IPv6 dual stack, a multilingual web GUI, SmartConsole utility, SNMP/RMON and a simplified CLI over Telnet. QoS supports IEEE 802.1p and DSCP, and advanced functions include Auto Surveillance VLAN, Auto Voice VLAN, loopback detection, cable diagnostics and LLDP/LLDP‑MED.
