Managed Switch D-Link DMS-1250-10SPL/E 10-Port Multi-Gigabit PoE+ 8x2.5G 2x10G SFP+
The D-Link DMS-1250-10SPL/E is a managed multi-gigabit switch with eight 2.5G PoE ports and two 10G SFP+ uplink ports. Designed for SOHO, SMB and MDU environments, it delivers an 80 Gbit/s switching capacity and support for advanced PoE standards including IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3bt, enabling high-power delivery to connected devices while maintaining multi-gigabit throughput for Wi‑Fi 6 access points and other network equipment.
The switch provides 2.5G ports to avoid bottlenecks with Wi‑Fi 6 access points and two 10G SFP+ uplinks for high-speed external connectivity. It supports IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) with up to 60 W per port and a total PoE budget of 120 W on the DMS-1250-10SPL model. Built-in 6 kV surge protection on all 2.5G Ethernet ports increases resilience against electrical surges. Managed functionality is available via D-Link Nuclias Controller (DNC), D-Link Nuclias Hub (DNH) and D-View 8, with SNMP support for centralized monitoring and configuration.
Mount the switch in a suitable rack or place it on a stable surface, then connect your upstream 10G SFP+ link to the ISP or core switch. Connect Wi‑Fi 6 access points and other network devices to the 2.5G PoE RJ‑45 ports; the switch will supply power to compatible PoE/PoE+ and PoE++ devices according to configured PoE settings. Use D-Link Nuclias Controller, Nuclias Hub or D-View 8 for device discovery, configuration and centralized management, or manage via SNMP for integration with existing monitoring systems.
For optimal performance, connect Wi‑Fi 6 access points to the 2.5G ports and use the 10G SFP+ uplink for aggregation to your core network. Monitor PoE power budgets when deploying high-power devices and configure PoE priorities in the management interface to avoid exceeding the total 120 W budget on the DMS-1250-10SPL.
