USB hub D-Link DUBH4 — 4× USB-A 2.0 ports
The D-Link DUBH4 — 4× USB-A 2.0 ports is a compact, bus-powered USB hub that expands a single host USB port into four USB-A 2.0 downstream ports. It is designed to connect common peripherals such as keyboards, mice, flash drives, printers and cameras to desktops and laptops. USB 2.0 support provides compatibility with a wide range of devices and enables data transfer rates suitable for most everyday storage and peripheral tasks.
The DUBH4 requires no driver installation and operates as a plug-and-play device with both Windows and macOS systems. Its small footprint makes it convenient for use on crowded desks or in mobile setups. Backward compatibility with USB 1.1 ensures older devices remain supported, while front panel indicator LEDs show power and port activity to help monitor connections.
Connect the hubs built-in USB cable or plug its upstream connector into an available USB-A port on your computer. Once connected, the operating system will detect the hub automatically and you can plug up to four USB-A peripherals into the downstream ports. For power-hungry devices such as some external hard drives, use a powered USB port or an externally powered hub, as the DUBH4 is bus-powered and shares host port current among connected devices. Observe the LED indicators to confirm power and activity on each port.
Use the D-Link DUBH4 for low- to moderate-power devices and general data transfer tasks. Avoid connecting multiple high-current devices simultaneously (for example, multiple bus-powered external hard drives) without an external powered hub or a dedicated powered USB port. Keep the hub on a stable surface and ensure the host computer provides sufficient USB power for connected peripherals.
