Network switch Dahua Technology PoE PFS3005-4ET-60 — Unmanaged L2 5× Gigabit (10/100/1000) PoE, black
Dahua Technology PoE PFS3005-4ET-60 is an unmanaged Layer 2 network switch featuring five Gigabit RJ-45 ports (10/100/1000) with Power over Ethernet capability. Housed in a compact black enclosure, the switch combines basic L2 switching functions with PoE power delivery for connected devices. It supports IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.3x standards and is designed for straightforward installation in small office, IP camera and wireless access point deployments where simple, reliable connectivity and PoE power are required.
The PFS3005-4ET-60 offers automatic PoE power delivery to compatible devices and simple plug-and-play operation thanks to its unmanaged design. Its five Gigabit-capable RJ-45 ports provide flexible connectivity for mixed-speed devices while maintaining compatibility with Fast Ethernet endpoints. The compact, black housing is space-efficient and suitable for small network closets or wall-mounted installations. The switch supports extended PoE transmission distances up to 250 meters for select deployments and provides a recommended configuration for stable video monitoring with multiple IP cameras.
Place the switch on a stable surface or mount it according to available installation options. Connect the uplink port to your router or core switch using a Cat5e or better Ethernet cable. Plug PoE-compatible devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points or VoIP phones into the PoE-enabled ports. The device is unmanaged so network parameters are handled automatically; ensure connected devices are set with appropriate IP addressing for your local network. For video monitoring, configure camera bit rates and resolution so that each connected camera uses less than 4 Mbps where recommended to preserve smooth streaming.
For reliable PoE operation and stable video streams, limit the number of connected IP cameras to four when each camera operates at bit rates below approximately 4 Mbps. Use quality Ethernet cables (Cat5e or higher) and verify total PoE power budget against the power requirements of connected devices. If longer distances are required, verify device compatibility with extended 250 m PoE transmission and test performance in your environment before final deployment.
