Wooden base boards Dalprint Dpcraft 18 x 7 x 0.4 cm, pack of 6
Wooden base boards Dalprint Dpcraft 18 x 7 x 0.4 cm, pack of 6
Dalprint Dpcraft wooden base boards are flat, rectangular wooden planks sized 18 x 7 x 0.4 cm, supplied in a pack of six. They provide a compact, uniform wooden substrate suitable for hobby and craft applications, model-making, prototyping and small DIY projects. The thin, lightweight construction makes them easy to handle, paint, glue and trim to shape for bespoke decorative or structural uses.
The boards are made from thin, consistent-quality wood that offers a smooth surface for painting and adhesive bonding. Their uniform dimensions and lightweight profile enable precise placement in model assemblies and craft layouts. Supplied as a pack of six, they reduce preparation time by offering multiple identical bases ready to use. The natural wood surface accepts water-based paints, stains and common craft glues.
Select a board and, if required, mark cutting or shaping lines with a pencil. For painting, lightly sand the surface to improve adhesion, then apply a primer or base coat suited to the paint system you will use. Use PVA or craft glue for bonding paper, fabric or lightweight components; for stronger joints, use wood glue. Trim or shape the boards with a hobby knife, fine saw or sanding tool, taking appropriate safety precautions. Allow adhesives and finishes to dry fully before further handling.
For best results, store boards flat in a dry environment to prevent warping. Test paint and adhesive compatibility on a scrap piece before applying to the main surface. When cutting, secure the board and use appropriate personal protective equipment. Use water-based primers and paints for easy cleanup and reduced odors; use tack cloth to remove dust before finishing.
