Patch cord DATACOM 1553 UTP cat5e 7M blue
DATACOM Patch cord UTP cat5e 7M in blue is a network patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections. It is manufactured from copper conductors and terminated with two RJ45 connectors to link PCs, data outlets, patch panels and active network devices. The 7 m length gives flexibility for typical home and office installations while the cat5e specification supports standard fast Ethernet and broadband connections.
The cable uses copper conductors and standard RJ45 terminations for consistent signal transmission. Its UTP (unshielded twisted pair) design keeps the cable lightweight and flexible for easy routing. A 7-meter length accommodates varied layouts without additional extensions, and the blue jacket helps with colour-coded cable management.
Connect one RJ45 plug of the patch cord to the Ethernet port of your device (PC, printer, etc.) and the other plug to the network outlet, switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable to maintain transmission quality. For rack installations, route the cable neatly through cable management panels.
Use this UTP cat5e patch cord for standard Ethernet connections up to the cat5e performance level. For environments with high electromagnetic interference or for higher-speed requirements (e.g., gigabit over long runs in noisy environments), consider shielded cables or higher category patch cords (cat6/6a).
