UTP surface-mount dual outlet with 45° angled ports — Cat 5e (FA 649D). The complete outlet is designed for surface mounting and features two unshielded RJ45 ports angled at 45 degrees. It includes an LSA punch-down field and is rated for category 5e cabling. Colour: white.
The outlet provides two angled RJ45 ports to simplify cable routing in surface-mounted installations. LSA punch-down terminations ensure reliable connections without the need for additional adapters. Cat 5e compliance supports standard Ethernet links while the unshielded design reduces installation complexity for typical LAN environments.
Mount the outlet on a clean, flat surface using appropriate screws and wall plugs for the substrate. Route the UTP cables to each port, strip the outer sheath, and terminate individual conductors in the LSA punch-down field according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). After termination, verify pair continuity and correct wiring with a network tester, then attach faceplates and secure the outlet.
Use Cat 5e or higher-quality UTP cable for best performance. Verify wiring standard compatibility with existing network infrastructure before termination. For environments with high electromagnetic interference, consider using screened/shielded outlets and cabling (STP/FTP) instead of this unshielded model.
