Wall-mount STP Socket DATACOM Cat5e 2×RJ45 for network cabling
Wall-mount STP socket DATACOM Cat5e with two RJ45 ports provides a compact, shielded outlet for structured network cabling. The unit is suitable for both surface and flush mounting and includes dust shrouds protecting the RJ45 ports. It is intended for terminating shielded twisted-pair cabling compliant with Cat5e parameters and supports Ethernet networks (Fast Ethernet and short-run Gigabit depending on installation).
The DATACOM STP socket offers two shielded RJ45 ports (Cat5e) in a single 80×80 mm faceplate, compatible with both 110 and LSA termination tools. Its design allows mounting above or below plaster and the included dust covers protect unused ports. The package contains a surface box and faceplate sized for two keystone modules, plus two STP Cat5e keystone modules and two white shutter modules for tidy installation.
Install the supplied surface box in the chosen location or prepare a flush opening in the wall. Terminate shielded Cat5e cable to the STP keystone modules using a 110 or LSA-type punchdown tool following standard wiring scheme (T568A or T568B). Insert the keystone modules into the faceplate, attach the faceplate to the surface box or flush box, and close the dust shrouds over unused ports. Ensure the cable shield is properly bonded to ground per local installation practices.
For optimal performance, use shielded Cat5e cable and maintain correct grounding of the cable shield. Select T568A or T568B consistently across the network and verify connections with a cable tester after installation.
