Patch panel 19" DATACOM 3310 24 ports, 1U, RJ45 keystone
DATACOM 3310 is a 19-inch, 1U patch panel with 24 ports engineered for structured cabling installations. It accepts RJ45 keystone modules, allowing flexible termination of Ethernet cabling and modular configuration. The panel provides a centralized, rack-mounted connection point for patching and maintenance, helping to organize horizontal cabling runs and reduce cable clutter in offices, data closets and server rooms.
The 1U form factor conserves rack space while offering 24 accessible ports in a compact layout. Compatibility with RJ45 keystone modules enables mixed use of shielded and unshielded modules and straightforward replacement or upgrades without reterminating cable ends. A rigid metal panel and standard mounting hole pattern ensure secure attachment to 19" racks and enclosures. Front access ports make patching and labeling easy, and rear keystone openings simplify cable terminations and management.
Install the patch panel into a standard 19" rack or cabinet using the rack-mounting holes and appropriate screws. Insert RJ45 keystone modules into the front openings, then terminate horizontal cables at the rear keystone positions according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Label each port on the front panel to reflect the connected outlet or device. Use cable management accessories such as cable ties or horizontal managers to route and secure cabling behind the panel.
For reliable network performance, use compatible keystone modules and follow recommended cabling practices, including correct cable pairing, maintaining proper bend radius, and testing each link after termination. Reserve space in the rack for future expansion and consider using color-coded keystone modules or front labels to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting.
