STP Keystone Cat.6 silver dual-mini is a shielded Cat.6 keystone jack in a silver finish with a dual-mini punch-down field and a protective cover. It is intended for terminating shielded twisted-pair Ethernet cabling where a compact keystone module and grounding continuity are required. The module fits into standard keystone openings and is suitable for use with compatible faceplates and modules such as ABB Tango outlets.
The shielded Cat.6 construction ensures improved protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded jacks, while the dual-mini punch-down field simplifies termination of conductors in space-constrained installations. The included cover protects the termination area and supports reliable long-term connections. The silver finish provides a neutral, professional appearance that blends with typical outlet panels and wall plates.
Insert the STP Keystone Cat.6 into a compatible keystone opening or faceplate. Prepare the shielded Cat6 cable by stripping the outer sheath, folding back the drain wire and foil shield as required for grounding, and position conductors into the dual-mini punch-down field. Use a suitable punch-down tool to terminate each conductor according to the color code. Reinstall the protective cover and ensure the module is properly seated in the faceplate; connect the shield to the outlet frame or grounding point to maintain continuity.
For best performance, install this shielded keystone jack in systems designed for STP cabling and ensure proper grounding of the shield. Use compatible faceplates (for example ABB Tango compatible frames) and follow structured-cabling color codes and termination practices to maintain Cat6 performance.
