RJ45 connector DATACOM 4161 UTP 8P8C Cat6, pack of 10
DATACOM RJ45 connector 4161 is an 8P8C UTP plug intended for terminating Cat6 unshielded twisted-pair cable. Supplied in a pack of 10, these connectors are designed to create reliable copper Ethernet connections for patch cords, in-field cable assemblies and short network leads used with routers, switches and patch panels.
The connector supports Cat6 UTP cabling and follows the 8P8C configuration to ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet equipment. Packaged in sets of 10, the plugs simplify bulk installations and repairs. Their design facilitates crimping with compatible tools and provides stable contact for consistent signal transmission.
Strip the outer jacket of the Cat6 UTP cable, untwist and arrange the conductor pairs according to the required wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Insert the conductors fully into the 8P8C connector so contacts align with each wire, then crimp using a compatible RJ45 crimping tool. Verify continuity and proper pinout with a cable tester before putting the cable into service.
Use connectors with cables that match Cat6 UTP specifications and a suitable crimping tool. Test each assembled cable with a network cable tester to confirm proper wiring and signal integrity. Avoid using these UTP plugs with shielded cables or outside their specified category.
