Socket-outlet RJ-45 Dätwyler Cables 435067
The Dätwyler Cables 435067 RJ-45 socket-outlet is a shielded, angled Category 6A connector designed for transmission of digital and analogue voice, video and data signals up to 10‑gigabit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3). It exceeds Category 6A connecting component requirements up to 500 MHz (ISO/IEC 60603-7-51), supports Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+ per IEEE 802.3at) and features a compact zinc die-cast housing for flush or duct mounting and installation in floor boxes. The outlet provides combined shielding contact and strain relief and allows cable entry from all sides within a ±30° range.
The socket offers high spare capacity to headroom limits, robust shielding for reduced interference, and compatibility with design families from multiple vendors. Its zinc housing and compact form factor make it suitable for tight installation spaces, while LSA connection technology ensures reliable termination for copper conductors (AWG26–AWG22). Color coding supports both T568A and T568B wiring schemes and the unit operates across a wide temperature range from -40 °C to +70 °C.
Prepare the Cat6A shielded cable according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Strip the outer jacket and position the braid and foil to maintain shielding continuity, then insert conductors into the LSA termination slots following the color code. Use the appropriate punch-down tool or head-on wire termination method to secure conductors and activate the combined shielding contact and strain relief. Mount the socket into a flush plate, duct or floor box and verify continuity, shielding and network connectivity with standard network test equipment.
For best performance, use shielded twisted-pair Cat6A cables and ensure proper bonding of the outlet shield to the building earthing system. Verify PoE power budgets when connecting high-power devices and perform post-installation tests for insertion loss, return loss and alien crosstalk where required.
