Drain cleaning hose Dedra DED882212 for pressure washers, 10 m

Dedra DED882212 is a 10 m drain cleaning hose designed for use with compatible pressure washers to clear blockages and remove debris from household and light-commercial drainpipes. The hose delivers pressurised water directly into pipe runs to dislodge sediment, grease and small obstructions, offering a compact solution when a targeted high-pressure water line is needed for maintenance or occasional unclogging tasks.

Advantages

The hose provides a 10-metre reach that allows access to drains and short sewer runs without repositioning the pressure washer frequently. It is engineered for connection to standard pressure washer fittings, ensuring secure coupling and efficient transfer of water pressure to the drain. Its flexible construction permits navigation through bends and offsets commonly found in residential and service plumbing. The product supports routine maintenance and spot-clearing operations while minimising the need for chemical cleaners.

Suitable for

• Clearing kitchen and bathroom sink drains
• Removing sediment and light blockages from straight or gently curved drainpipes
• Maintenance of downpipes and small-diameter household sewer lines
• Use with compatible pressure washers for targeted jet cleaning

Key specifications

• Length: 10 metres
• Designed for pressure washer connection
• Flexible hose construction suitable for navigating pipe bends
• Intended for high-pressure water conveyance to dislodge deposits and small obstructions

How to use

Connect the drain cleaning hose to a compatible pressure washer following the washer manufacturer's instructions for safe coupling. Insert the hose end into the drain or pipe to the required depth, then operate the pressure washer at an appropriate pressure setting for the pipe material and type of blockage. Use controlled, steady movement and avoid forcing the hose against tight obstructions. After cleaning, flush the pipe with clear water until debris is removed and disconnect the hose when the system is depressurised.

Usage recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment and follow the pressure washer safety guidelines. Start at lower pressure settings to assess pipe condition and increase pressure gradually as needed. Do not use the hose in pipes with fragile, crumbling, or collapsed sections; in such cases consult a professional. Store the hose dry and coiled to extend service life.
