Protective Painting Sheeting Deka Extra Thick Black 4×5 m, 1000 g
Deka Extra Thick black painting sheeting, size 4×5 m and weight 1000 g, is a heavy-duty protective cover designed for painting, renovation and maintenance tasks. The opaque black film creates a reliable barrier against paint splashes, dust and construction debris, helping to protect floors, furniture and other surfaces during interior and exterior work. The sizeable dimensions and dense material make the sheeting suitable for repeated use where durable coverage is needed.
The extra-thick material offers increased tear-resistance and reduced permeability compared with standard painter sheeting, providing longer-lasting protection. Its black opaque colour conceals dirt and overspray for a neater appearance on site. At 4×5 m and approximately 1000 g total weight, the sheeting balances large coverage area with a compact folded size for storage and transport. The robust film is compatible with tape and clips for secure fastening to a variety of surfaces.
Unfold the Deka Extra Thick sheeting and position it over the area or items to be protected. Smooth out wrinkles and align edges so that the full coverage area is achieved. Secure corners and edges with painter's tape, masking tape or appropriate clips to prevent movement during work. For extended projects, overlap adjacent sheets by at least 10–15 cm and fasten the joints to maintain a continuous barrier. After use, shake off loose debris, fold the sheeting neatly and store it dry to extend service life.
Use appropriate fastening methods for the surface type and avoid direct contact between the sheeting and hot surfaces or open flames. Inspect the film for tears before reuse; replace if significant damage is found. For paint that remains wet for extended periods, remove accumulated liquid promptly to prevent staining or bleed-through.
