Sealant Roofing Alubutyl Tape Deka 10 cm x 10 m, Anthracite
Sealant Roofing Alubutyl Tape Deka 10 cm x 10 m, Anthracite
Deka Alubutyl roofing sealant tape in anthracite is a self-adhesive, metalized butyl tape designed for sealing roof joints, flashings, gutters and small repairs. With a width of 10 cm and a roll length of 10 m, this tape provides a flexible, weather-resistant barrier against moisture and leaks on metal and composite surfaces. The anthracite finish blends with common roof colors while the metalized outer layer adds mechanical protection and improved UV resistance.
The tape combines the adhesive properties of butyl with a metalized surface to ensure long-lasting adhesion to clean, dry substrates. Its flexibility allows it to conform to irregular shapes and overlaps, creating a continuous waterproof seal. The anthracite color offers discreet visual integration on darker roofing materials and the product is ready to apply without primers in many typical roofing maintenance tasks.
Ensure the application surface is clean, dry and free of rust, dust, oil or other contaminants. Measure and cut the required length of tape, peel off the release liner and press the adhesive side firmly onto the substrate, smoothing out any air pockets. Overlap adjacent strips by at least the tape width where continuous coverage is required. For best adhesion, apply pressure across the tape and seal edges thoroughly. Use a roller or similar tool on larger areas to ensure full contact.
Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For cold surfaces, temporarily warming the tape or substrate improves initial tack. Inspect sealed areas periodically and reapply where mechanical damage or heavy weathering is apparent. Avoid application on wet or heavily contaminated surfaces.
