Docking station Dell WD15 180W wired USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1) with Ethernet, audio, Kensington – Black
The Dell WD15 180W wired USB-C docking station expands connectivity for Dell-compatible laptops and Windows 10 systems by combining power delivery, video output, network access and audio in a compact form. Using a DisplayPort over USB Type-C cable, the dock delivers up to 130W power to supported Dell devices and up to 60W to many non‑Dell systems while providing support for dual Full HD displays or a single 4K display at 30Hz. The unit integrates Gigabit Ethernet, multiple USB ports, audio jacks and a Kensington lock slot to create a single-cable workstation experience for office, hot-desk or meeting-room use.
The dock consolidates power, video and data through one USB-C connection so you can reduce cable clutter and reconnect a laptop quickly. Its compact footprint makes it suitable for tight workspaces while still offering a range of ports: multiple USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports for peripherals, Gigabit Ethernet for reliable wired network access, and front/rear audio connections for headsets or speakers. Built-in support for power delivery up to 180W from the supplied AC adapter ensures connected Dell laptops can charge at higher rates where supported, and the Kensington lock slot provides physical security when needed.
Connect the docking station to AC power using the supplied 180W adapter. Use the included DisplayPort over USB‑C cable to connect the dock to a compatible laptop or tablet that supports data, video and power over USB‑C. Attach displays to the dock and connect Ethernet, USB peripherals and audio devices as needed. When connected, the dock will provide power to the host device (up to the supported wattage), enable wired network access and extend peripheral connectivity through its USB and audio ports.
For best results, use with Dell systems that support DisplayPort over USB‑C and higher power delivery to achieve up to 130W charging. Ensure your laptop’s USB-C port supports video and power delivery to use multiple external displays. Place the dock on a stable surface and secure it with a Kensington lock when left unattended in shared environments.
