The DeLOCK USB Type-C Splitter 87754 provides Multi-Stream Transport (MST) capability so connected monitors can be managed individually in operating systems that support MST, enabling extended desktop configurations. If the host system does not support MST, the ViewXpand (VXP) technology merges displays of the same resolution into one large virtual display, allowing multi-monitor desktop output on systems such as macOS. The adapter supports a maximum combined resolution of 3840 x 1080 @ 60 Hz when using VXP and up to 3840 x 2160 for individual outputs where supported.
