Ethernet patch cable DELOCK Cat5e U/UTP 0.25 m RJ-45 black
Ethernet patch cable DELOCK Cat5e U/UTP 0.25 m RJ-45 black
DELOCK Ethernet patch cable Cat5e U/UTP 0.25 m with RJ-45 connectors is a short, unshielded network lead designed for direct, low-latency connections between nearby devices. The compact 0.25 m length minimises cable clutter and is suitable for linking switches, patch panels, routers or network interfaces where only a short reach is required. The cable conforms to Cat5e performance and supports 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet in typical office and home network environments.
The cable features eight conductors with 50 µin gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. Molded strain reliefs on both RJ-45 plugs reduce mechanical stress at the connector ends and extend service life. The U/UTP unshielded construction provides standard Cat5e performance with straightforward installation and compatibility with common network equipment.
Insert each RJ-45 plug firmly into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks. Use the 0.25 m patch cable to create a direct connection where minimal slack is required, such as between adjacent switch ports or from a network outlet to nearby equipment. Avoid sharp bends near the connector and do not subject the cable to excessive pulling force; the moulded strain relief helps protect the cable at the plug end.
For best performance, use this Cat5e cable in short-distance applications and indoor environments. Keep connectors free of dust and avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines to reduce potential interference. Replace the cable if contacts show signs of corrosion or if the connector latch no longer secures reliably.
