Patch Cord Cat5e UTP 0.25 m RJ-45 — DELock PP120.25M/O Orange
Short 0.25 m Cat5e UTP patch cord by DELock with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for short link Ethernet connections in racks and workspaces. The unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) cable supports Cat5e performance levels suitable for 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps networks over short distances. The bright orange jacket provides clear visual identification for patching and interconnect tasks.
This DELock patch cord features precision-molded RJ-45 plugs with 50 µin gold-plated contacts to maintain low contact resistance and reliable signal transfer. Molded strain reliefs at both ends reduce stress on the cable where it enters the connector, increasing mechanical durability in patch panel and switch environments. The compact 0.25 m length minimizes cable clutter and is ideal for short cross-connects between adjacent ports.
Insert each RJ-45 plug into the corresponding port until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use the 0.25 m patch cord to connect adjacent ports on switches, patch panels or network equipment where a short, direct link is required. Avoid sharp bends at the connector entry; the molded strain reliefs help protect the conductor termination. For best performance, use the cable within standard Cat5e installation guidelines and avoid running it alongside high-voltage power lines.
For reliable network performance, verify port settings and link speed on connected devices after installation. Use the orange color for consistent cable identification in your rack or cable management system. Replace the patch cord if connectors show deformation or contact wear.
