Patch panel Delta PP-24/RJ-KAT — 24× RJ-45 ports, keystone style
Patch panel Delta PP-24/RJ-KAT — 24× RJ-45 ports, keystone style
Delta PP-24/RJ-KAT is a 24-port keystone-style patch panel with RJ-45 interfaces designed for organizing copper Ethernet cabling in network racks and cabinets. It provides a single-row arrangement of 24 keystone openings that accept RJ-45 keystone jacks for terminating Cat5e or Cat6 patch cords and structured cabling. The panel is intended to simplify port labeling, secure patch cord connections and improve cable management in LAN, server room and office installations.
The keystone-style design allows flexible selection of individual RJ-45 jacks and easy replacement or upgrading of ports without changing the whole panel. With 24 ports in a standard rack-mount form factor, the panel supports consolidated termination of copper Ethernet runs and neat horizontal cable routing. The product enables straightforward identification of active ports through standard front-panel labeling and reduces clutter by keeping patch cords aligned at the rack face.
Install the Delta PP-24/RJ-KAT into a standard 19-inch network rack or cabinet using the mounting holes provided. Insert RJ-45 keystone jacks into the keystone openings and terminate horizontal cabling or patch cords according to the jack manufacturer’s wiring scheme. Label ports on the front panel to match patching documentation and route patch cords through appropriate cable management accessories to maintain neatness and access. Ensure jacks are fully seated and secured before connecting active equipment.
For best performance, use compatible Cat5e or Cat6 keystone jacks and follow industry wiring standards (T568A/T568B) when terminating cables. Keep patch cords properly dressed with cable ties or horizontal organizers to avoid strain on jacks and to maintain airflow in the rack.
